Earth Sciences PhD student Julia Andersen was awarded the Solid Earth Best Student Paper Award at the recent Canadian Geophysical Union's 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting held in Banff, Alberta. Julia won the award for her work titled "Symptomatic vs. Asymptomatic drips with applications to the Central Andes and Central Anatolia" which received lots of attention.
