Master of Applied Science

Master of Applied Science (MASc) students carry out a two-year focused research project, write and defend a formal thesis.

Course Requirements

Completion of a total of 2.0 FCE (four half-courses)

  • ESS1101H (required)
  • One breadth course

Please note: admission to the MASc currently requires full financial support for the second year of study to be provided by the faculty supervisor. Therefore, it is imperative that prospective MASc students contact potential supervisors to discuss possible projects well before applying.

Funding: Full time students are fully funded for two years.

Program length: six sessions (two years) full-time

Time limit: three years full-time
