Geoscience Minor

The study of earth sciences (or “geology” to use the Greek term) integrates the classical sciences of chemistry, physics and biology, and applies their principles to a diverse range of processes on Earth and other planets, from landform evolution to plate tectonics all the way to the origin and evolution of life and geomicrobiology. The Geoscience Minor program aims to give students as much leeway as possible to choose particular interests within the diverse and dynamic field of earth sciences.

Students are advised to check course prerequisites. For further questions, please contact the Undergraduate Administrator, Scott Moore.
