Assistant Professor Corliss Sio is the recipient of a 2023 Dorothy Schoichet Women Faculty in Science Award of Excellence.
The award was created to help early career female faculty focus on reserach and is awarded in any of the physical or life sciences, computer sciences or mathematics within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. With the new GEMINAE lab being built in the Department of Earth Sciences, the awards teaching release will let Professor Sio invest time to get the lab running smoothly.
