The list below provides information on various research awards for undergraduate students.
NSERC Undergraduate Research Award (USRA)
A $6,000 research award for research conducted over the summer term (16 weeks). Student must have at least a B average, completed at least two academic terms, and be engaged on a full-time basis in research and development activities under the superivision of a faculty member.
University of Toronto Excellence Awards (UTEA)
A $7,500 research award for research conducted over the summer term (14 weeks). Student must have an average of at least B+ and be engaged on a full-time basis in research and development activities under the superivision of a faculty member.
