Mantle Petrology

Several projects suitable for MSc or PhD are available in the field of mantle petrology, including petrologic and geochemical studies of eclogite xenoliths from the Lace and Blaauwbosch kimberlites and investigations into the variety of ilmenite sources in Kaapvaal Craton kimberlites with applications to kimberlite and diamond exploration.
