Congratulations to Dr. Charly Bank on being awarded a UofT Teaching Fellowship for 2015-16.
This is a pilot project offered by the Office of the Vice-president and Provost that is “designed to develop and cultivate leadership and mentoring skills, capacity-building to support teaching effectiveness, pedagogical innovation and pedagogical research, and will engage Fellows in a pedagogical project” (http://www.provost.utoronto.ca/awards/TeachingFellowships.htm). Only one Senior Lecturer and one Lecturer was chosen at the University, and Charly was chosen as the recipient for the former category—as such, this is a very significant achievement and recognition.
With the Fellowship, Charly will undertake a year-long residency at the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation (CTSI) starting in July 2015.
