The Earth Sciences department recently held a reception in honour of University Professor Barbara Sherwood Lollar’s NSERC John C. Polanyi Award. Among the distinguished guests, colleagues, friends and family Acting Chair Grant Henderson and Professor Sherwood Lollar were pleased to welcome U of T Emeritus Professor John C. Polanyi, recipient of the 1986 Nobel Prize.
