KEGS Seminars are held in the Seminar Room – ES2093 during the regular term

TGDG GTA events

Walker Mineralogical Club meets in ES2093 monthly.

Rockfest

Rockfest is a departmental colloquium held once a week during the Fall and Winter terms where grad students and faculty present their research.

The talks are held in ES2093 on Fridays 4-5 pm.

Two talks are scheduled per session each lasting 15 minutes. Discussions and refreshments follow the talks.

At the end of the term the Rockfest Fest is held with a photo competition and announcement of the best talk of the year.
