Research Associate (Limited Term) Position
The Department of Earth Sciences, University of Toronto, is seeking a Research Associate (Limited Term) to join Professor Miriam Diamond’s Environmental Research Group.
The successful candidate is expected to have a PhD in natural sciences, environmental chemistry or environmental engineering. The Research Associate must have expertise in environmental fate and exposure modelling, preferably using the fugacity approach. The candidate must have experience with computer modelling, interpreting chemical contaminant data for model parameterization, and model evaluation methods. The candidate must have fundamental knowledge of the basis of physical-chemical properties of chemicals and chemical transport processes. The candidate must also have a proven track record of synthesizing model results and publication of those results in the peer reviewed literature.
