Hugh Snyder International Scholarship in Earth Sciences
Opportunities may be available for funded graduate study in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Toronto through funds endowed by Mr. Hugh Snyder, which created the Hugh Snyder International Scholarship in Earth Sciences.
The scholarship is designated for outstanding international MSc or PhD students from Latin America, Spain or Portugal. Candidates must also meet the admission criteria for graduate studies in Earth Sciences within the School or Graduate Studies at the U of T.
The scholarship covers the full cost of study through the MSc or PhD graduate program. For the 2016/17 academic year this included a base stipend, tuition, fees and health insurance (UHIP) coverage for a total scholarship value of $42,104 per year. This fellowship is guaranteed for one year of study for the M.Sc. program and four years for the PhD program.
